What this site collects

The message form. The form on the contact page asks for your name, your phone number, your email address, which county your case is in, your court date if you have one, and a free-text message. It does not ask what happened, and the publisher asks you not to say. A form-handling service delivers what you type to the publisher's inbox.

The phone line. The phone number printed on this site is a call-tracking number. When you call it, the tracking service records the number you called from, the date, the time and the length of the call, and the call itself may be recorded. Treat this policy as your notice that calls to that number may be recorded. The call is answered by or forwarded to the publisher, not to a lawyer.

Server logs. The hosting provider keeps standard server logs: the address your connection comes from, the pages requested, the browser and device type, and the time. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse.

No advertising cookies. This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no advertising network and carries no social-media tracking pixels.

How it is used

What you send through the form or say on the phone is used for one purpose: to reply to you. That reply usually names the page of this guide that answers your question and gives the number of the NC Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service. The publisher keeps a record of the exchange so that a second message from you can be answered with the first in view. Nothing collected on this site is sold, rented or traded, and it is not used for marketing lists.

Who can see it

The publisher, Luxe Club LLC, and the services it uses to receive messages and calls: the form-handling service, the call-tracking service and the email provider, each of which handles the data under its own terms. A lawyer sees your details only if you ask to be put in touch with one, and only after this site publicly names a lawyer or law firm on its pages. As of the date on this page it names none, so no message or call is passed to any lawyer.

How to ask for deletion

Send a message through the contact page with the name, phone number or email you used, and ask for deletion. The publisher will delete the message, the reply and the call record it controls, and will ask the call-tracking service to delete the recording and the call log for that number. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider on its own retention schedule and are not tied to a name.

Google Fonts

The typefaces on this site load from Google's servers. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives the address your connection comes from and your browser details. Google's own privacy policy governs what it does with that request. No other third-party script runs on these pages.

Changes to this policy

This policy is dated at the top of the page. If the publisher adds a service, changes how calls are handled or begins passing messages to a named lawyer, this page changes first and its reviewed date moves. Questions about it go through the contact page.
